Someone commented a month ago and trashed this hotel, and while I can relate to some of their comments, I'd like to add a comment. First of all, this hotel wasn't originally my planned stay; it was a replacement room they gave me when they couldn't accommodate me due to certain circumstances. It's the same rank, but the price is significantly higher. First of all, the shower temperature is tricky to adjust. The trick is to turn it really hot and then gradually adjust the angle to find the perfect temperature. If you can't even do that, your shower is completely messed up. The air conditioning worked. In fact, it worked too well, raising the room temperature. They don't wake me up in the morning to clean my room, but they certainly don't change the sheets. They only make the bed. My room was next to the front desk, so I told the staff what time I'd be leaving and asked them to change the bath towels and bath mat. They did what I asked. I was surprised to hear a neighbor blaring music on the porch at 3am. I went outside and said, "It's too noisy," and he replied, "Oh, I see. I'm not a bad person," and sat down on a chair on the porch in front of my room and we started chatting. The man said he was British in his 50s and lived in west London, but his accent was so peculiar that I didn't understand about 40% of what he said, but I didn't want to bother asking him to repeat himself, so I just went along with the conversation. Like many older men in overseas hotels, he was wearing only black briefs. At a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, I encountered a Chinese man wearing only briefs with a python print. If he'd at least worn underwear, I wouldn't have objected. His bulge was completely exposed. By the way, the British man apparently checked out the day after, but now I suspect he was lonely and was making noise to lure me out. In any case, he gave me cigarettes and some important supplements, so although he was quite strange, it made for a good memory.
