Amazing place to stay. It was relaxing, peaceful & great location central to everything. Clean & tidy. The only thing would be the bed was uncomfortable in the middle had a join where I'm guessing 2 singles join. That wasn't comfy. Beautiful views 😍

Our stay at Q1 Gold Coast was deeply disappointing from start to finish and far below the standard expected of a hotel of this reputation. At check in, the manager charged our card twice for the room dismissed my concern and assured me it would “drop off.” A week later, both charges were fully processed. He also failed to read any of my reservation notes including that our stay was for our wedding anniversary and forgot the breakfast booking I had already arranged. The promised anniversary wine never appeared and we never received the call they said we would get when the room was ready. I had to repeatedly explain the payment error to different staff members remind them again about breakfast and was even told to return to reception to collect towels myself before heading to the pool where we were going to after dropping our bags off. This level of service is simply unacceptable. While the room was clean thanks to housekeeping it was noticeably worn with paint bubbling on the bathroom ceiling, scratched walls, damaged shower rubber, poorly functioning curtains and a very uncomfortable bed made of two singles pushed together. The blinds also rattled loudly all night with the air-conditioning making sleep difficult. Basic information about the hotel was missing and Netflix was only available on the main TV, not in the bedrooms. Breakfast at Sky point was average and absolutely not worth the price but thats a review for another company. In short, this stay was marked by poor service, ignored booking details, unresolved payment issues and substandard room maintenance. As a local, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere this is not the experience the Gold Coast should be known for.
