Quality Inn Akron OH

It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had the morning front desk staff is extremely rude especially Virginia they try to money grab at every possible chance my pipes burst so my family had to stay in a hotel until our landlord can fix it I booked online with Priceline when I went to check in I was told there’s a $100 security deposit i told her multiple times I was never notified about that and also I didn’t have $100 she told me there’s nothing she could do so I asked for a refund cause I can’t pay that and she flat out refused multiple times i asked to speak to somebody else she called somebody and then proceeded to tell me I couldn’t get a refund and she doesn’t know what to tell me we overdrafted our accounts to pay for it cause we didn’t have any other choice we already paid for the room we stayed one night and they kicked us out the next day and told me I could pay another security deposit or had to leave and they wouldn’t refund me my stay from the 7th-17th and they wouldn’t be refunding me my security deposit I tried to see if there was any way I could work it out with them but they were so rude and nasty they have great night staff but the morning staff is horrible no compassion or empathy i even explained to them that I had nowhere else to go with my family and Virginia just walked off the manager isn’t there on the weekends so there was no resolution and they think they’re just going to keep my money even tho I didn’t stay there also there were only 2 lamps that worked the microwave was filthy and had a hole in the bottom the table was so wobbly I wouldn’t allow my kids to go near it the ceiling in the hallway was leaking so bad they had a bucket under it to catch water and the carpet was wet the trash can that was in my room had mold on the bottom of it when I took the trash bag out and a staff member went into my room twice without my permission while I wasn’t there and left the door open when they left horrible experience all around and now I’m back in my house with my pipes being burst until I can figure something else out with my children i don’t have anybody who can help and no shelters have space I used my legit last to book this hotel and now I have no money and nothing to show for it

I was so disappointed in this hotel. The room and furniture were well-worn. The toilet had rust stains in it. The mattress was ancient. Even though the room was listed as non-smoking, it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We had to leave and book a room somewhere else. I should have known something was up when the receptionist asked for my husband's ID as well as mine. Avoid at all costs!

The worst hotel i have ever been in. A homeless shelter would have been better. We left and got a different hotel.
