Quality Inn & Suites Santee I-95

Old and dated does not bother me but really old and chipping paint does. Broken hair dryer, hair in the shower. Curtains in room did not shut all the way. Breakfast had stale white bread, limited choices, frozen cream cheese and the ranch out of coffee at the breakfast bar. Place is just bad.

There were hair in the bathtub and around the toilet was absolutely disgusting. Told the guy at the front desk the next morning he said well maybe they miss cleaning your room one time.. I said that’s more than one time!!!!!!

This was the worst lodging establishment that I've ever been to in the 15+ years I've traveled on the East Coast of the US. The sitting chair in my room had some sort of white sticky substance all across the bottom cushion, the bed had springs that moved under me during the night, the hairdryer couldn't be turned off without unplugging it which seems like something I should've been told about before using based on the spark that came from the socket when plugged in which is a fire hazard. Upon unloading my vehicle, I overheard a gentleman shouting his complaints about the fact his room hadn't been cleaned for a week, can't speak to that, but I don't doubt it to be true. The closest ice machine to me was out of order, so I had to walk to the opposite side of the building to get ice. Despite the fact there was no one else there when I checked in around 5 PM, others arrived later in the evening and my neighbors, between 5-10 people minimum with others coming and going by my door, from about 9 PM - 6 AM were shouting, a baby crying, doors slamming, knocking on the doors, beating on the walls and eventually someone must've called the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office who arrived announcing their presence, but not affecting their behavior in any way. The walls had to be paper-thin for me to hear so much commotion. They should have been removed from the premises. I had hardly any sleep because of their behavior. In the morning, I observed a couple coming out of their room, just a few doors down from me, that were scoping the premises to ensure it was safe for his wife to navigate to the lobby which was only 100 feet away from their room, but obviously they heard the commotion in the night too and had concerns which they confirmed with me. The main lobby bathrooms, I guess that's what you can call it even though they're quite a distance from the lobby itself, had faucets that were not secured to the sinks, sinks were broken, the floor was sticky, toilet paper dispensers were taped up but thankfully there was paper in the stall.
