Amazing Venue Coordinator, Extremely Disappointing Hotel Management We got married here on November 29 and while working with Steven was amazing, the hotel management made our experience incredibly stressful. Steven was helpful, responsive, and the only positive part of the hotel side. Manager Alan refused to honor the suite and room prices we were originally given, was rude, walked away multiple times mid-conversation, and made even simple requests (like storing bags for a couple hours in an empty room) extremely difficult. Our guests booked 20+ rooms, yet he still tried to charge double the agreed rate until we pushed back and he also stated multiple times “that’s not my problem” on top of that he made unreasonable requests (like wanting an exact head out of the guests and said I should stand at the front door and count each person because it had to be exact). The front desk receptionist was also unprofessional and shared personal details about us to other guests checking in. After all that, the TVs in our suite and several guest rooms didn’t work. They did not attempt to fix them. When I asked about compensation, the receptionist said no and hung up. To top everything off, both Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast was not set up and ready at 7am like stated. Saturday morning it was 7:45am and nothing was set out so we decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. No compensation for this either. If I had dealt with Alan before signing, I would have chosen a different hotel. Steven did a great job helping and answering all of our questions, but the hotel management needs serious customer service training.
