We had two rooms on the third floor for three nights. I can tell that they have remodeled them and overall they looked nice. But the rooms could really use a deep clean. The smoke detector was beeping, but housekeeping got us a new battery right away. This building is pretty old, the sheets, blankets and towels are worn and showed a few old stains. The breakfast consists of waffles, cereal and muffins. My boys were hungry after lol On the second night we seen a mouse. Never seen any bugs except a spider in the bathroom. Unfortunately there seemed to be several guests, maybe long-term, that hung around the ground floor constantly coming in and out with a horrible "skunk" smell. I felt reasonably safe, but I was also staying with my husband and two adult sons. I probably would not recommend this hotel for my daughters. We did enjoy some family time and play games in the breakfast room. Our purpose was to come and spend time with our soldier from Fort Bragg, and we did that and enjoyed our weekend. This place is close to the Fort Bragg Gates, the mall, several eating establishments and is at a pretty good location. The price was a little higher than we expected, but affordable and probably one of the cheaper places around. So after driving 20 hours we took our rooms and made the best of it. The ladies at the front desk and all of housekeeping were very nice. Very helpful and friendly. Thanks

Very pleased with our stay, the hotel staff is so wonderful and I can tell they actually really care about the happiness and comfort of their guests (which is so refreshing nowadays), but I think my favorite thing of all is..... we have seen NO LIL CRITTERS inside. I think it's safe to say that we ALL know how impressive that is, like can I get a "hallelujah"?!! Keep up the good work here, Kalakala & team! You're all awesome, and we thank you!

Dirty,old,worn out. No bath mats in room. Breakfast, don't make me laugh. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. I wasted all my points for this crappy hotel. The only thing it has going is a good location, and even that is not great, being off the mall parking and not off the road.
