Quality Inn Perryville I-55

They are very rude & disgusting people. They have roaches & act like it. Went for a funeral out of state & that's our experience. Complete slum!!!! & the manager doesn't care & does nothing about it.

My goal is to give a factual review on how bad the customer service is at this hotel. The manager on duty was Nick, who was not available on site. Only on the phone from the only worker on the premises, Mark, who was very helpful and polite. Mark deserves better !! There were 2 beds in the room. One of which had makeup stains near the pillow, so we checked the other bed and slept in it. Sleep is used lightly. The ac unit would not cool the room at all. It was miserable. Cut to the chase, as we left Mark was the only staff on duty he asked if he could help, my man stated he had a complaint, he called the manager on duty who was Completely accusatory and stated that we should have said something and they would have changed our room. Then contradicted themselves by saying all the ac unit run off the same system so changing rooms wouldn’t have helped. Lastly, when it was mentioned there was no shampoo or conditioner in the dispenser inside the shower it was again our fault for not asking for more. News to me it’s my job to refill the things at a hotel. Guess I should have known by the HELP WANTED sign seated on the front lawn.

Update 2: Once again as soon as I posted my review, Nick called me again. . He said “you are upset with the front desk?” I affirmed that. Mind you, I am calm, cool af, and collected. Nick said in a rude manner “That was a stupid thing you just did”. I decided that was a great moment to record the conversation. iPhone alerts both parties of the recording so Nick decided he didn’t want to talk anymore. Again, mark is cool. He’s the only one tha I got to meet at this facility that seems to care about customers. Update: moments after I made my review. The owner, Nick called me. He asked me to go back to the hotel and someone would be there soon to resolve the issue. A lady showed up and offered me $15. I explained the issues that are listed in my original review. This lady spoke over me, interrupted, and made excuses. She said we should have told them the bottles of shampoo and conditioner were empty, the sheets were stained, and the ac wasn’t working. My rebuttal was “should we have to?” I travel often and this is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had a hotel. I’ve stayed in worse hotels but they at least had customer service. Please do not give these business owners any of your money!!! Bed had what appears to be makeup stains on the sheets. No shampoo or conditioner in shower. AC not working properly. Spoke to the manager on the phone the next morning and his response was accusatory by saying “you should have asked for a new room”. Maybe so. Or maybe we should have expected a properly maintained room to begin with. Nick basically told us to get over it. When I asked him if he believed this was the proper way to handle the situation, he said yes. Then said he would look into it and email me. He then hung up on me. Well, they don’t have my email address. So pretty clear to see that I was simply dismissed. If you value yourself. You’ll be the the only one who does at this hotel. Except Mark. Mark is cool! Do not waste your money here.
