There are a lot of options on where to stay in SLO but I strongly recommend this one. Quality Suites Dtn SLO was our favorite stay on our road trip. The suite room was perfect, comfy bed, great accomodations. I put a blanket on the couch and our two small dogs loved it. The grounds are very nice, with little sitting spots and fire pits. Off to the side of the hotel there is a bench in a green area above a small waterfall / stream which was nice to hear. The daily reception for guests with a free glass of wine was wonderful - offered in the cozy but large parlor area. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cooked to order breakfast was a wonderful surprise and tasty. We will definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast—choice between breakfast plate (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns) or breakfast burrito (scrambled eggs, cheese, refried beans). Fruits & other typical breakfast fare as well. Complimentary drink (beer/wine) from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
