My husband and I just spent a week at this lovely hotel with fabulous restaurants on the property. Clean, safe, great location and excellent staff. If staying here, just be aware that guests "claim" the poolside and beach chairs early in the morning by placing a towel or other possessions on it and then don't return to use them until later in the day, preventing access to other guests. Also the resort sells day passes to the public which further reduces the availability of chairs for paying guests. One day I spoke to reception about how exceptionally crowded the pool and beach area was and their only response was to say they had a large group using day passes that day. So, you either have to play the game of "claiming" a chair very early in the morning or risk sitting on the ground by the pool or on the beach. Everything else about the property was wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a mountain view, and our room felt very private, which I loved. The staff was very attentive. The view of the beach from the pool was spectacular. The only thing we didn't love was the bed; it felt too low and was a bit uncomfortable. Another thing that surprised us was how delicious the food at the restaurants was, especially at Otto. The Basque tart and the corn rib were amazing, and the ocean view is beautiful, especially at sunset and at night.
