I’d stay here again during warmer days when the pool would have the perfect temp! Room was great, overlooking the pool and surrounding gardens.

Misleading. When we made our reservation, it seemed like a very tidy and well-maintained hotel, but it left a bit to be desired. The day before our check-in, I received a message from the hotel saying we would have to check in at a different establishment, the HS Milfontes Beach, which is a 20-minute walk from where we were staying. When I asked about the possibility of checking in where we were staying, considering we didn't have our own transportation and were carrying luggage, they ignored my message. It's important to note that when booking, it stated that only reservations with check-in until April 10, 2025, would be checked in at the other establishment, while our reservation had a check-in date of August 14. The pool area is pleasant. However, we also noticed that it wasn't cleaned thoroughly, as several outdoor chairs were covered in bird droppings. The reception at Quinta do Moinho de Vento is not operational, so guests who need anything must go to HS Milfontes Beach or contact them by phone. But what disappointed us most was the room, as it wasn't as comfortable as it appears in the photos. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and creaked a lot. The shower sometimes didn't have hot water, even though we didn't use it that day. Overall, the room could use a makeover. Overall, for the price Quinta do Moinho de Vento charges, we were quite disappointed with the experience.
