R8 Eco Hotel

I encountered some personal issues that required assistance, and I found the hotel's service to be very fast, and the process was clean, efficient, and friendly. It is a trustworthy and good hotel!

An affordable city hotel that will neither impress nor disappoint you. The location was great, with a night market right around the building. The WiFi is often slow and geneally not very reliable.

This time, I stayed at R8 Apartment Resort, located on the 12th floor in the prime Sanduo shopping district. The entrance is not very obvious, hidden among the residential and commercial buildings. First-time visitors may need to pay attention to the door signs or directional signs to avoid missing it. Although the accommodation itself does not have a dedicated parking space, which is usually a concern for drivers, I was incredibly lucky this time. I found an empty parking space on the street as soon as I arrived ❤️ This saved me the trouble of searching for paid parking and made the check-in process much smoother. The biggest advantage of being on the 12th floor is its quietness amidst the hustle and bustle. Despite the vibrant shopping district below, I enjoyed a rare tranquility in the room. While the soundproofing wasn't perfect, other guests weren't noisy during their sleeping hours, which was acceptable. The most satisfying aspect was the abundance of dining options right downstairs, making dinner and late-night snacks a breeze. The location is impeccable, just a few minutes' walk from the R8 Sanduo Shopping District MRT station, making it very convenient for going to Pier-2 Art Center and Ruifeng Night Market. If you don't mind the building's somewhat dated appearance, the affordable price alone makes it a great value. *The housekeeping staff didn't even clean under the bed; the dust was very thick, and things rolled in and ended up covered in dust and hair when they had to be retrieved. My standards aren't very high… If the area under the bed had been clean, I would have given it five stars.
