Radisson Blu Acqua Hotel & Spa Concon

Our stay at this hotel was, unfortunately, very different from what we expected from a place that advertises itself as a luxury hotel. While not all the staff were like that, in general we perceived an attitude that seemed more concerned with appearances than with providing a truly welcoming experience. We witnessed a very uncomfortable situation at reception. A staff member arrived accompanying an elderly guest to help resolve an issue. When she greeted Catalina, who was at reception, with "hello, good morning," Catalina simply didn't respond. This happened in front of the other guests. Later, as the staff member was leaving, she returned to say goodbye and again received no response. One might think that perhaps Catalina didn't hear the greeting, however, that's very difficult to believe, since at that moment there was no noise or other people talking at reception. In fact, when the staff member explained that the elderly guest needed help with a problem, Catalina did respond immediately, asking for the room number. This made it quite clear that she had heard. What made the moment even more awkward was that Catalina is a very young receptionist, while the other employee was considerably older. One would expect, out of respect and basic courtesy, a cordial attitude, especially in front of guests. The scene was truly unpleasant to witness; we even exchanged glances because the lack of manners was so obvious. I personally felt sorry for the employee who was being ignored. We understand that everyone can have a bad day, but in the hotel industry, the way people are treated, both guests and staff, is fundamental. In this case, several situations fell far short of what one would expect.

Terrible, the delivery drivers are always unloading in the bike lane, insulting and threatening people, the hotel does nothing because they don't care, and the public safety officers are just as useless as they are.

I paid 570k Chilean pesos through Booking.com, but upon arrival they demanded 2.4 times more, fabricating a problem with my card. My vacation was ruined!
