Business Hotel with a heart in Sandton The Radisson Blu Gautrain sits in the heart of Sandton's business district, with a genuine warmth that permeates every aspect. Rooms are equipped with free high-speed wireless internet, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and mirror casting, minibars, and thoughtful touches like in-room coffee provisions. The hotel excels at balancing business efficiency with personal care, making it feel less like a corporate stopover and more like a home base in Johannesburg. LOCATION: The hotel sits directly across from Sandton Gautrain Station, offering a seamless 20-minute connection to O.R. Tambo International Airport. Nelson Mandela Square is about 900 meters away – roughly a 13-minute walk – while Sandton City Shopping Centre sits at a similar distance DINE + DRINK: The Breakfast buffet was pretty decent. The hotel has a lobby bar and a restaurant, both of which have a nice terrace seating that is excellent when the weather is good. ROOM: We stayed in Room 917, Which was a SUITE room, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough with a nice Living area with couch/tv and a big Bedroom area; VIEW: Sweet view of the cityscape; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good quality toiletries FACILITIES: Very good Gym with a full range of weights, workout stations, and Cardio machines perfect for a full-on workout. They also have a compact outdoor pool SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to ELDINNET for enhancing our stay. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
