We've stayed at the Radisson Blu Resort in Świnoujście several times now and have always been very satisfied – but we're even more disappointed with our stay this time. Even upon check-in, it was noticeable that the usual service had declined. Normally, as a regular guest, you're greeted warmly, even with your name displayed on the TV and a fruit bowl with chocolates – this time, none of that was missing. One receptionist was very friendly, but the other insisted on speaking only English, which unnecessarily complicated check-in and even forced us to wait in line again. On the positive side, we were able to check into our rooms early – that was really convenient. What we found very annoying: Although check-out is officially at 11 a.m., the area around our room was already cleaning much earlier and even knocking on the door to ask if we were "almost ready." We found this unprofessional and inappropriate. The biggest problem, however, was breakfast. The selection is still great, but what goes on there in the morning has nothing to do with relaxation. The breakfast room is far too small for the number of guests. Sometimes you're relegated to the lower restaurant and have to run downstairs with coffee and plates – an imposition for older people and simply unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The Sky Bar on the 13th floor was also disappointing: ice-cold air conditioning, a less than cozy atmosphere, and a very limited selection of drinks. Unfortunately, you don't really feel welcome there. Overall, this stay lost much of the quality and special feeling we previously associated with the Radisson Blu. It's a shame – for now, we'll probably stay away and look for alternatives.

The rooms are generally fine – clean and functional. The service, however, was disappointing: I asked the reception four times if someone could take care of the broken air conditioning – nothing happened. With a small child, this is very disappointing! The breakfast room is also far too small for the number of guests, which quickly becomes stressful in the morning. The pool situation is also disappointing: The outdoor pool is unheated and therefore hardly usable, and the only jacuzzi was almost always overcrowded. It's a shame – with a little more organization and service, much more could be achieved here.
