I had a weekend (150 lei/night) starting with September 12, 2025 at this 3-star hotel. At first glance, you would say that the hotel is ok. At the reception - welcoming staff, parking 15 lei/day although the parking lot was empty, resort fee 5 lei/pers/day, the elevator does not work, as for the room, I had to choose between the 2 rooms presented. It is clear that it is an old hotel, in which no investment was made, clean bed linen, sockets: only one in which there was an extension cord with a TV and a mini fridge. The lamps on the bedside table were decorative because they did not have a socket. The TV with fleas, although at the reception it was perfectly visible, in the rooms (in the 2 in which I checked) fleas were making fun of the TV. The furniture was not maintained and was not checked upon departure to make sure everything was in order, so you could see the traces of the tourists who passed through that room: stains on the armchairs, the crooked door on the bedside table where the TV was. On the balcony, the view and space were ok, but here too there were traces of rust and peeling paint on the balcony railing. In the bathroom, the shower and the sink faucet had traces of rust and the patina of time, evidence that they had not been maintained, cleaned, etc. As for the location, it is not far from the beach, you get there immediately, the self-service is nearby (we ate at Terasa Vulturul - menu of the day - 35 lei, but also at Aylin, here they broke our wallets a bit: 25 lei soup; 2 wings, 3-4 slices of peasant potatoes and a slice of tomato: 25 lei). Returning to the Raluca Hotel, it is not 3 stars; it is 2 stars. It has the potential to be enhanced if desired and invested in, the doors at the entrance to the rooms need to be changed (that white insulating glass has no place there). The garden in the middle of the hotel, if properly cared for, would be effective and very beautiful. It remains to be seen for those who will go there next year if they will find improvements… we will not return to this hotel.

We convey our respect to the staff and Mrs. Iulia, the manager of the Raluca Hotel for the excellent way in which we were received and accommodated. We were greeted with hospitality, empathy and warm words, which allowed us to spend our stay in the most pleasant way possible. At the same time, we took note of the fact that an important page of Romanian cinematographic history was written in this hotel. Sincere thanks to Mrs. Iulia and the hotel staff and we assure you that we will not forget you!

Hotel Raluca is a pleasant experience. Friendly staff, available at any time, clean rooms, even though it is an older hotel, a relaxing atmosphere. It looks much better than other hotels with pretensions. We felt very good and we will definitely come back.
