Aside from its location, the hotel has no redeeming qualities. Despite requesting four separate beds upon arrival, they didn't arrange a room initially; staff later sent someone to find one. We reported that one of the beds was broken, and while they found a solution the next day, we couldn't even sleep at night because of the noise. The breakfast was very poor; apart from scrambled eggs, fried peppers, and eggplant, there was nothing else for the hot weather. It's disappointing to see chicken products in a hotel you've paid so much for. We wanted to use the pool and Turkish bath; it said it was free to use the pool and sauna, but the Turkish bath was extra. It was ridiculous to just go in, sweat, and then leave. We contacted the hotel manager and explained the absurdity, and he said we could use it this time and he would relay the issue to the hotel authorities. The lady at reception was very helpful, especially the woman who worked at the bar at night; she was very understanding and friendly, and I'd like to thank her again.

The rooms are extremely cramped and uncomfortable. The central air conditioning is completely uncontrollable. The beds are very uncomfortable. The shower has a transparent door, as shown in the pictures. There's noise at night from the music in the nearby shops. There's no bidet, as usual. I spoke to them, and they changed rooms. The bathroom is better in terms of the door, but it's still cramped, and the noise is much less. The only good thing is its location, which is very nice, but that doesn't excuse its flaws.

Our booking was made on the 30 January 2025 through Agoda for our stay at Ramada By Wyndham Istanbul Pera at a special price. After a very long flight from Vancouver, Canada we transferred to our hotel for checking in. We were told to sit in the reception area, which we found very strange. After around 10 minutes we were called and told that Agoda had cancelled our booking. I showed the hotel that we were fully paid and no one had the right to cancel our booking. He told us to contact Agoda and complain. It was a nightmare, sitting in the reception area trying to contact Agoda. Nothing was sorted, so the hotel said we should book a room with them and pay three times the amount of our actual booking. We did this reluctantly as we were very tired. Firstly, this is not a Five Star Hotel at all, more like a three star hotel. The front office staff are rude and unprofessional. The next morning, we get a message from Agoda asking if we wanted to cancel our booking, which according to the hotel was cancelled by Agoda. Confused we informed them that they had cancelled it. The next email from them was that our booking was cancelled and that they will be refunding us our money in around 30 days. Now that is unacceptable after the issues we had with the hotel. Fortunately, we were able to move from this hotel to a proper five star hotel a very short distance away, where we were treated professionally and timeously. We do not recommend this hotel at all.
