The location is amazing; however, the room conditions were appalling and unsafe. There was visible mould on the ceilings, a strong unpleasant odour, and ripped, water-damaged carpets with large stains. Management acknowledged these issues, apologised, and agreed to provide a full refund. Despite this, the refund has not been processed, and management has since refused to correspond or offer appropriate compensation. Due to the condition of the room, we were unable to stay in the accommodation we had paid for and were forced to drive home, extremely disappointed with both the accommodation and the service provided. We are still actively trying to obtain the promised refund.

This has possibly been one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed. We stayed in the central tower in rooms 4207 and 3202 and both were disappointing. The first rooms was dirty with mouldy ceiling, dirty shower and dripping sound coming from the air con and the sink leaking. It also had a strong smell of sick coming from the drains. I asked to move rooms which they did accommodate and moved us to another newly renovated room, great I thought … I was wrong, the renovation are surface level and the same issues stood please see pictures. We also were rudely awoken by next door playing loud music at midnight. We tried to call front desk no answer so had to knock on and ask them to turn it down. When returning to bed a saw a cockroach on the floor! I spoke to staff the next day and you could tell they have complaints all the time. I asked for some money back for our stay and was told they will speak to the manager, no one contacted us. I’ve never complained about staying at a hotel before l, things happen but this place was one thing after another. We left early and cut our losses, I would not recommend waisting your money on this place it’s 2 star at best ! I’ve stayed in far nicer hostels.

Proper minty gaff. Really smelly and small rooms, mouldy and not a 4 star hotel 😂 The location for the beach is great but apart from that this place is a dump. It says parking provided, but the car park is shared with the club next door and if you leave for the day your space will be gone by the time you return. If you enjoy a proper Minty gaff that’s by the beach and you like minty food, this is your place.
