Ramada Encore by Wyndham Munich Messe

I stayed here for two nights with a colleague during a trade fair. The hotel is ideally located for such occasions. The U2 subway line is a 5-10 minute walk away, and from there it's just one stop to the fairgrounds. The immediate surroundings of the hotel aren't the most attractive, as they're quite reminiscent of an industrial area. There's not much to complain about with the hotel itself. Most of the staff were consistently friendly. I liked my room at first glance. It was more than spacious and clean enough for me alone. However, on closer inspection, it was clear that it had seen better days. There were some noticeable dents in the wall paneling, and the wallpaper wasn't exactly spotless in places. Despite its location on a main road and near the highway, the room was relatively quiet. With the window closed, I only perceived passing cars as a faint murmur. Breakfast was okay for the price. The rolls were a bit too hard for my liking on the first morning. They were significantly better on the second morning. Otherwise, it was a typical hotel breakfast. There was a small selection of cold cuts and cheeses, a small selection of muesli and cornflakes, and some fresh fruit. Drinks included typical coffee specialties from the machine, or alternatively, juices or iced tea, also from the machine. The staff deserves praise here as well. They made an effort to fulfill special requests, such as protein rolls. We were able to fortify ourselves well for the upcoming trade fair days. In conclusion, I would probably book this hotel again for a trade fair due to its location. For a city break, however, I would definitely prefer something else.

Hotel was ok, nothing special. Were collecting the trash at 6am and that was really loud. The breakfast is nothing special and served in a really cramped space and was really crowded. Hotel is close to the messe and offers shuttle, but neighborhood is not fantastic. Riemer park offers aoem nice outdoor space in the area.

😠 Disappointing stay at the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Munich Messe: Not recommended! Rating: Very poor (1 out of 5 stars) Although the room size itself was acceptable, a number of serious flaws made our stay at the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Munich Messe a frustrating experience and resulted in a clear, very poor recommendation. By far the biggest issue was the extremely disruptive noise from a ventilation shaft located directly against the wall of the room. The loud, constant noise was not only a serious problem in the evenings but also made a restful sleep virtually impossible. This even led to physical discomfort for us, as we woke up with sore throats. The quality of the breakfast was also poor: Some of the fruit offered was mushy and didn't seem fresh. Another major problem was the extremely poor soundproofing throughout the entire hotel. We could clearly hear conversations, footsteps, and other noises from other guests (both from adjacent rooms and the hallway), which further exacerbated the noise disturbance. Finally, the cleanliness in the bathroom left much to be desired. The grout was moldy, a clear indication of poor hygiene and maintenance. In conclusion: Due to the significant noise problems, the poor soundproofing, and the shortcomings in breakfast and cleanliness, I cannot recommend the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Munich Messe in any way. If you value a quiet night's sleep and hygienic standards, you should avoid this hotel.
