Anyone just looking for a place to sleep and not experiencing any problems will find this a perfectly adequate budget hotel. The shower drains poorly, and it only trickles out in a thin stream. Therefore, I had my hair washed at the spa. This was a big mistake, as the procedure was quite painful due to the woman scraping with her fingernails, and she simply wouldn't stop when I asked her to. She also rubbed my hair between her fingers, creating small dreadlocks that I had to cut off. Then she burned half of my hair with an extremely hot hairdryer. This was completely unprofessional, and I would have expected compensation in addition to an apology. Instead, I received a bill for payment at checkout. For this reason, I cannot give the hotel even a second star, as this was at least the responsibility of the hotel management.

We just left the Rambutan this morning. We were there for 10 days and it was wonderful. The grounds are so serene with waterfalls, tropical trees and plants everywhere you look. They have 2 pools and both of them were very pleasant. It is also close to many different Warungs & restaurants as well as a short walk to Lovina beach.
