Just got back from our first trip to Rome and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Re Monti Guesthouse! We stayed 4 nights in February 2026 and it was the perfect home base for exploring the Eternal City. The location is unbeatable — literally a 5–10 minute walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Monti district, and all the main sights. We never needed taxis or the metro once. Every morning we woke up to the most delicious fresh pastries delivered right to the hotel daily — the included breakfast was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The shower had endless hot water — a real lifesaver after long days walking around Rome in February. But the absolute best part was Juan and Alessia. They were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to help. They gave us perfect restaurant tips, hidden gem suggestions, and even provided tips on things we would not have considered visiting Rome (like if the metro ticket machine was not working to validate tickets, you need to write down time you will be using the ticket yourself - this was good to know as we did end up using the bus once to get to Vatican City and the metro police boarded at one stop and were handing out fines left and right) You can tell they really care about their guests. For the price and the location, this place is an absolute steal. Nothing to complain about at all. If you’re visiting Rome for the first time (or the fifth!), book Re Monti Guesthouse without hesitation. We already miss it and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Juan and Alessia! ❤️

We stayed here for one night and had a great time. The room was clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast served in the breakfast room was also very much appreciated. It included pastries, yogurt, eggs, toast, jam, and much more. The owner was very kind and helpful. The location was excellent, close to the metro and halfway between the Colosseum and the station. We would love to stay here again. Thank you.
