We were pleasantly surprised with our room at Redstone Cliffs Lodge. While the photos presented at the time of booking were not accurate, the description was (# and type of beds, kitchen, etc). The unit was dated but incredibly clean. We stayed in unit 6 and had 2 sliding glass doors with direct access to the rear yard and river. There was ample patio furniture to sit and relax. The hot tub appeared clean and hot though we did not use it. No one was in the office during our stay but they left the key and good instructions in the unit. The extra heaters were sufficient during our fall stay to keep both rooms warm. The price point to sleep a family of 5 was unbeatable.

Our stay at Redstone was decent. The bed was pretty firm, and we couldn't figure out how to change the temperature in the cabin. But the bathrooms were nice, and everything was very very clean which was great. However, we booked through a reservation service and the reservation service made it sound like we would be getting a two bedroom room or at least a room with two beds in it, not one single full size bed. So just pay attention when you're booking to make sure you're getting what you need. The worst part however and what would make me caution you staying here is that when we checked in, we saw that it was just one bed. We immediately went up to the front desk and there was no one in there and the entire place was dark and locked, so we could not get a different room or get the issue sorted. I called two days later to give them feedback to avoid the issue happening in the future, and the woman who helped me on the phone did not listen to me at all, interrupted most of my sentences, and was very caustic.

We stayed at the Redstone Cliffs Lodge for two nights in early August, and had such a great time! The room was adorable...just two of us, but we booked the suite (#2) as we liked the idea of having a little kitchenette. It ended up being the perfect size, and had such a sweet ambiance to it. The river was just steps away, and the lodge was right in the heart of the tiny little town that we so enjoyed! We got pizza right next door, walked up and down the street multiple times, enjoyed a concert in the park (again, all easy walking distance), and felt super safe and comfortable! The kitchenette had everything we needed, and everything felt clean! We'd definitely recommend a stay here!
