I stayed here while sightseeing in Matsuyama. Because it was a three-day weekend, it seemed crowded, and I had to wait quite a while for the elevator to go to the front desk to check in. Because I booked directly with the hotel, I was able to get water. The guest rooms, public bath, and breakfast were all clean. The hair dryer in the public bath was a Dyson. I was concerned about the crowds at breakfast, but I was happy to be able to enjoy a mandarin orange tasting and sea bream rice.

For young people, I recommend finding accommodations near Okaido. Most places are open late. It's about a 20-minute walk from Vessel to Okaido. Taking the tram every time can be a bit of a burden. There's a Family Mart and a Seven convenience store on the first floor, which is convenient. There's also a large public bath, which is nice. There are only two elevators, so you'll have to wait a while. The breakfast was decent: five kinds of tangerine juice and three kinds of soft serve ice cream. I didn't buy any tangerine juice outside, haha. A shot of soju costs about 5,000 won. It seems many Japanese people stay here. I booked through the official website because the prices were cheaper. It's a good idea to compare prices on accommodation apps before booking. I booked a room for four, including breakfast, and the difference between the app and the hotel was about 100,000 won. The view was amazing, as I was on the 12th floor. The downside is that there's one old tram at Matsumaya Station. It's noisy every time it stops. "Squeak squeak~~" Those with sensitive skin might have trouble sleeping.

The airport limousine bus will drop you off right in front of the hotel. The subway is easy to get to, and the department store is right next door, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. There's also a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby, so there's no inconvenience whatsoever. It takes about 10-12 minutes to walk to the Okiido shopping district. Currently, you can't use the open-air bath if you use the public bath. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and it's a great way to experience Matsuyama's famous food and beverages. I'll definitely stay here the next time I visit Matsuyama.
