I stayed here again after a long time, but unfortunately, it's become quite a disappointing place. The service was good. However, the cleaning was completely inadequate. The shower booth floor was stained black and had mold and yellowing in places. The shower booth curtain was torn and tattered. I used to enjoy staying here, so it's a shame. The bed was still good, as always. I booked this time looking forward to breakfast, but I'm sorry to say it was a disappointment. It wasn't worth 2,200 yen. The pre-made beef simmered in soy sauce? hadn't been reheated, and the oil was still solidified and white when it was served. The reviews were good, though. I probably won't stay here again.

Stayed from March 9th to March 11th. The single room was a bit cramped, but the location was perfect. The mattress was comfortable and comfy. The hotel staff were friendly, but they didn't have a luggage scale. They provided a portable scale. I think all hotels have them. The window in the room didn't open, which was a bit stuffy. The water pressure was incredibly strong, which was satisfactory. Towels provided were one mini towel and one shower towel. They said there was a fee for additional towels... Shouldn't there be at least two towels and one shower towel? They provided a bottle of water per night, and if you put up a sign saying you don't want cleaning, they'll leave a plastic bag with a towel, water, slippers, and pajamas at your door.

At check-in, they kindly explained everything in English. Perhaps because the hotel is relatively new, the exterior has a sophisticated feel. Toothbrushes, razors, and other items are provided in the room, but shower towels are not. Tea can be brought to the front desk, and the variety and quality of tea was excellent. However, coffee and green tea were not available. The room was a bit unusual compared to other typical hotels. When you open the door, the bed is right next to you, and across from the window is the bathroom and toilet. The closet is diagonally across from the door, which was a bit confusing because I wasn't used to the layout. The bathroom had a unique seating area, but there was no bathtub, and it was a bit small, making showering a bit uncomfortable. The bed was nice and spacious. I'm not sure if they have single rooms, but even for me, it felt a bit cramped. The location is great. The Tenmonkan shopping district is within walking distance. The Sannomiya Observatory, which offers views of Sakurajima, is also not far away. Since it's right on the main street, it's convenient for trams and buses. The front desk is on the 3rd floor.
