Renion Park Hotel

The staff are excellent here, they let me check in early for no extra fee, and check out late for a small fee. Obviously this depends on availability at the time. The location is excellent, right next to Panfilov Park and Gogol street. We were also the only people in the swimming pool and sauna 2 days running.

We stayed at this hotel as a group of 16 people and booked 9 rooms for 3 nights. The location is great and the rooms are spacious, which we initially appreciated. However, the service and attitude of the staff were extremely disappointing, and some incidents were quite concerning. 1. False accusation and attempt to charge a fine I stayed in room 323. Before checking out, I checked the entire room and everything was normal. However, during checkout, the receptionist suddenly told me that I had dirtied their floor mat and needed to pay a fine. I had done nothing and fortunately had photos as proof, so I refused to pay. The staff blamed us immediately without even asking or checking properly and tried to pressure us into paying. It honestly felt like they were trying to scam us. 2. Mouldy food at the buffet During breakfast, we found a mouldy orange at the buffet line. We informed the restaurant staff and the front desk. Instead of checking the food or apologizing, the receptionist simply said it was “a minor thing” and that we could eat other items. Moldy food is a serious hygiene issue, not something that should be dismissed. 3. Serious security issue – someone entered our room at 4 AM In room 412, where my brother was staying, someone randomly entered the room at around 4 AM. When we reported this to the front desk in the morning, the receptionist initially said it might have been our imagination. When we told them we would contact the police, they finally called the manager and later discovered that another guest had been given a duplicate key card to our room due to a system error. This is a very serious safety issue, and the way the staff handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. Overall, while the location and room size are good, the service mindset, safety management, and staff professionalism are very poor. I hope the hotel management seriously improves these issues because experiences like this are unacceptable for guests
