Be careful! Hidden costs can increase to approximately 2/3 of the booked and reserved price. I had to pay more than the previously booked price with the deposit at check-in. These are additional costs that weren't apparent before booking. After booking, you get a message that laundry and cleaning fees will apply, depending on the length and duration of your stay. I've been waiting for my deposit for almost two months now... The check-in process felt like checking into a prison. A dubiously dressed man only allowed one person to enter the reception at a time. The others had to wait outside. The only thing missing was that my number had to be drawn and then selected numerically. If you're afraid of vermin, this accommodation is not for you. There are bedbugs everywhere, and their nests are stuck to the walls and roof, including in the room. I collected an average of 4 bedbugs a day. Just be careful with them. You can't find the accommodation on booking.com at the moment.

Run away!! Look at the photos, they speak for themselves! A host unworthy of this profession. His behavior is disrespectful, and his practices amount to outright abuse: a €70 cleaning fee that wasn't announced before the reservation was paid. When we asked for an explanation, he immediately became angry and threatened to charge us €125 for a simple trash can if we didn't throw it away at the end of our stay, and to unfairly charge us the €300 deposit!!! After paying the deposit to get the keys, he even threw my bank card on the floor without an apology! I quote, "It's not my problem, you pay or you leave!" The accommodation was also poorly maintained (damaged furniture, faulty toilet flush, main bathroom light and guest light broken, stovetop that works at will, etc.). What a surprise to pay €70 for a sloppy cleaning. Although the price and location remain attractive, we would never have stayed here due to the host's disrespectful and dishonest attitude and the condition of the accommodations. In summary: poorly maintained accommodation, aggressive host, and abusive practices. We absolutely do not recommend this stay.

Good evening, we just finished a one-week reservation at the Sognu di Mare residence, a quiet and relaxing residence, with its share of friendly animals, both free and unaccompanied. From the moment we arrived (7 p.m. sharp), the receptionist was forthright and went above and beyond his schedule to show us around the residence, the services, and the main attractions (beach, restaurant, tours, etc.). We paid the cleaning fee, which is normal because it is clearly indicated on all booking sites (Booking, Airbnb, etc.). We were able to enjoy the services of the two swimming pools, the latter being open until the end of September. The accommodation itself was fine; we didn't have any problems (as read in several reviews). It took a little getting used to the Italian bathrooms, but anyone can use them; it's not very complicated. Everything was clean, the bed and furniture were spotless; really, nothing to complain about. We had a wonderful vacation at Sognu di Mare. It will remain one of our favorites, and we hope to return there on our next vacation. Thank you to Charles for his welcome and his recommendations.
