A little bit away from the centre but a nice quiet location. Frequent bus, every 10- 15 minutes and a short ride to Amsterdam Central. Comfortable well equipped rooms and decent breakfast. The gym is very good. Service in the Moxy bar is very poor. At one point bar staff left the bar unattended to play a game of pool. They were annoyed when I asked them to return to give me drink.

A beautiful hotel with port view. Very amiable hotel employees and delicious food. Prices are affordable.

Room (Corner Suite): The suite was beautifully designed, clean, and attractively furnished. The view from the corner room was particularly outstanding and a real highlight. Unfortunately, the room was very cold upon arrival and took several hours to heat up – it took several hours to reach a comfortable temperature. It was also very stormy that night, and the whistling and rattling of the wind and rain was clearly audible through the metal-clad exterior, which significantly disrupted sleep. A few details further marred the overall impression: There was no toilet brush, the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work, and there was no heating, making it very cold. Breakfast: The breakfast buffet on the 9th floor offers a magnificent view of the city, truly impressive! However, the room was very cold. Several guests sat at breakfast wearing jackets and hats. The selection was very good, and everything tasted fine. However, some items were already dried out (e.g., cheese and cucumbers, as they were presented uncovered). Another unpleasant incident was water dripping through the ceiling during breakfast. We had to change tables, but the staff barely reacted. It was only brought to our attention by other guests. Instead of dealing with the incident professionally, the staff commented on it with an "Oh my god" and then jokingly dismissed it, moving the chair to the other edge of the table. I found that unacceptable. On the positive side, the coffee machine is available 24/7, as is the water supply. Unfortunately, it wasn't cleaned sufficiently; there were clearly visible dried residues on the outlet – very unhygienic. Price and Payment: The total amount for our two-night stay was €630.02, which included mandatory fees and taxes of €64.82, which were payable on site. However, upon check-in, I had to pay an additional €101 city tax. When I asked, I was told it was a deposit that I would get back upon check-out. When checking out, I was told that everything was in order and no further payments were necessary – however, I haven't received my deposit back yet. It wasn't a communication issue; I translate using an app. This is very annoying and should definitely be checked on-site, and you should request an invoice. These aren't automatically issued. Location: A bit remote, but well connected to the NDSM grounds and the main train station by ferry and bus. Parking: Arriving by car was convenient. I was able to drive directly into the parking garage underneath the hotel – it was free, which I would like to highlight as a very positive aspect. Conclusion: The hotel has great potential – beautiful rooms, a great view, and generally good amenities. Unfortunately, it lacks important details: inadequate maintenance (heating, ventilation, coffee machine), lack of responsiveness from staff, and minor hygiene issues at breakfast. The lack of clarity regarding the deposit also tarnishes the overall impression. With more attention, better service, and clear communication, the stay would have been much more pleasant.
