The front desk person was super helpful and kind. The kitchen attendant Dorinda was lovely and so attentive. I asked about an item that I needed her to double check the ingredients to be sure no wheat was present for an anaphylactic allergy. She kindly checked with the cook , Lisa who came out to capacity and rudely tell me to “Get your phone out and look it up yourself!” When I went to check out and let the front desk know of this interaction, she shared this is a common experience with this employee. If a cook can’t be bothered by a food allergy and responds like this to all guests, she needs to be replaced. Marriott needs to do berry as this reflects on management and the Marriott brand. Very disappointing!

We were in Scottsdale for a multi-day tennis event and could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived and through every encounter, the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was clean, well stocked and nicely laid out. The shared grounds with the Marriott Courtyard were a great place to relax and visit with friends. Would definitely recommend and will be staying the next time we need to be in Scottsdale.
