A really nice hotel in a great location but unfortunately we encountered a front desk person who was clearly irritated every time I stopped by to ask a question (which was only twice, by the way). We were staying in a two-bedroom suite with our daughter and two grandsons, looking forward to using the pool. Shortly after checking in, I went to the front desk to let him know we needed bedding for the pull-out couch. I heard him on the phone in his back office tell his caller "I have to go"... he came out and said "yes?" with no smile and clearly interrupted from a personal call. He told me the bedding was already in the room in a closet with sliding doors - his tone implied I was an idiot. Later, around 5:00 pm, we took our grandsons to the pool only to find complete chaos. A party of about twenty girls aged 8 - 10 had taken over the entire pool and hot tub, throwing toys, cannon balling, running and screeching at an ear shattering decibel. We couldn't even find a corner of the pool to use. I went back to the front desk to inquire if a private party had reserved the space and was wondering when they might leave. The same man had to end his personal phone call in the back room, came out and said WITHOUT A SMILE "hello, again..." totally irritated tone. I told him about the pool and asked him how long the party was going on. He told me he couldn't control how many girls were in the pool, how they were acting or how long they'd stay. He said they were overnight guests at the hotel and basically had a right to be there. I felt thoroughly lectured, felt every ounce of his irritation with me. I gathered my grandsons who were in tears because we couldn't use the pool... which was the whole reason we stayed here. Girls were running around the second floor hallways stomping and screaming. Trip ruined... never would have expected this from a Marriott property.
