I tried to touch as little as possible and slept on one side of the bed without moving during my stay, that's how clean it felt. All the bad reviews are true. I had cockroaches in my room (227) it's been 5 days and I'm still having to chase the management to have the decency to approve a refund. After cockroaches. Let that sink in. Disgusting environment, disgusting management behaviour. To the hotel management: both Expedia and I have been trying to reach you. There were clearly roaches. I trapped it under the mug and left it there for you to see. Don't bother to call me back or respond to this post for theatrics, just approve the refund request from Expedia.

We stayed in this hotel once before around 2021, but our most recent stay for the better part of a month indicated how downhill the property has gone. The rooms are not being properly maintained or cleaned. Wallpaper is peeling, there are holes left in the walls and ceiling, and cigarette smoke (among other smells) enters the bathroom if the fan isn't left on 24/7. Our bathroom door looks like someone practiced drilling it with a hole saw at least a dozen times. It also wouldn't latch shut before asking for maintenance to come fix it. Bathroom fixtures are left loose (faucets in sink and tub, for example) with no caulk, so they move around and let water into the walls and cabinets. Before asking for a replacement, the shower curtain was at least a foot too short to fit the tub. Water leaks are constant (even with a new curtain) and discolor all of the areas around the floor and tub. Soundproofing is non-existent - if someone is above you, it will sound like a herd of elephants. Your room will physically shake when they put a suitcase down. The final icing on the cake was housekeeping attempting to throw some of our belongings away after having not done much throughout our stay (I had to ask for towels and toilet paper myself multiple times). Luckily, I caught it in the large bag of trash which was left to sit in the hallway for several hours. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone anymore. The front desk staff is courteous and tries their best, and the location is very convenient, but the property itself is in need of real help, and appears to be mismanaged overall.
