Rice Palacio de los Blasones Hotel

Nice hotel, with an excellent location and top-notch service. The room was large and spacious, but I'm not giving it 5 stars because the bathroom is small and uncomfortable for two people. The bathtub is also small, as is the shower screen; it's not big enough for a full bath or a comfortable shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. In short, the room is spacious, but the bathroom falls short of expectations for this type of room. Another area for improvement is the heating. It's air-conditioned and very noisy, even on the lowest setting. You have to turn it off to sleep, and on cold days like the one we had, that's noticeable at night. This time we opted for half-board, and dinner surprised us. We were given a choice of two starters and two main courses, both very satisfactory. The starters included a lobster salad and a seafood bisque; the bisque was delicious. We then had either sea bass or a suckling lamb parcel, both dishes with excellent presentation and preparation. The desserts were equally impressive. It was a great dinner with the half-board option, though the portions were adequate, a bit small if you're expecting a large meal. Breakfast was adequate, but below expectations considering the quality of the dinner. The buffet offered standard fare with average-quality products; nothing remarkable, neither the fruit, nor the cheeses and cold cuts, nor the pastries. The coffee was just average. Another point to mention is the parking; it's a nightmare to get in with a medium-sized car. If you have a large car, you're almost better off looking for another option. Driving a Lexus UX-250, I had to perform several maneuvers to get down the ramps and make some turns, pushing the limits of the lateral distance to the columns at times. Overall, aside from the issue with the restroom, it's a good choice if you want a centrally located hotel with spacious rooms and good service. Based on our experience, we recommend the half-board option.

A wonderful place and the service was top-notch!!!

I paid €50 for a Christmas menu, supposedly adapted for vegans. They served me a salad, two artichokes, and broad beans with eggplant (which I couldn't eat because they were incredibly bitter; I left the plate as is). For dessert, there was fruit. The "normal" menu included a fish and a meat dish. It was a disgrace. There was no protein in the vegan menu, just vegetables to get by, and the price was five times lower. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.
