ATTENTION TO THE NOISE FROM A MOTOR LOCATED BEHIND THE RESTAURANT! For me, the most important thing in a hotel is a good night's sleep (bed, temperature, pillow, etc., and the ABSENCE OF NOISE!). Sometimes noise is external and therefore not attributable to the hotel. But in the case of Rinconcito Lodge, the noise comes from a motor/pump located behind the restaurant, which is running most of the day (including at night). I can confirm that the motor WAS running during the night after the restaurant closed at 9 pm. In addition, the metal window frames and glass in the room do not provide good sound insulation. Result: I couldn't sleep properly even though the night cost $150. The most affected rooms are: 317 (ours), the one below ours, and especially rooms 110 to 114, which are right behind the restaurant. I've attached a video where you can hear the noise. I hope the Lodge takes this comment seriously and that other guests in the future do not suffer the lack of rest that I did.

We will cherish the memories of the lodge. What's particularly noteworthy is how incredibly well we slept there. We could leave the door open at night, with the sliding screen door in place, and then look out over the magnificent bougainvillea bushes into nature – simply wonderful. David gave us excellent advice, and the guide provided us with all the necessary information during our tour; we felt very well looked after. The pool offered a perfect change of pace, and even the internet worked reasonably well, which isn't always the case. We're not giving it five stars, so as not to be unfair to other hotels and lodges, but we would definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
