Clean and quiet, AWESOME staff!

I have given this hotel several chances. My first stay was great, minus the housekeeper ignoring the "do not disturb" sign. Thank goodness I had the top latch closed so she couldn't get the door open. 2nd stay- they put us is a room that was under construction. This is the first sign of poor communication between staff and management. They offered to upgrade the room for free. They made it right, but not impressed. 3rd stay- shared pet room. The guest staying next to me was extremely disrespectful with her dogs, did not stop them from barking. I can tolerate a lot. The room was clean and comfy so I put some ear plugs in and tried to ignore it. Now its 9pm on my second night and the neighbors dogs are going crazy, stirring my dogs up and antagonizing them. I call the front desk, the dogs continue to bark. I get woken up at 7am the next morning to the barking. Again. I go to the front desk seeking for them to make this right and expressed that theyre other guest has caused me to have an uncomfortable stay. The lady with red hair states she will refund the pet fee which was 80$. 4th stay- I decide to give them one more chance. I come from out of town to visit family. I have arrived early everytime Ive stayed here, and have always been granted an early check in. And when they dont have my room ready they typically accommodate and put me in a different one. Today the manager Lynn insisted nothing was ready. First it was the excuse that the type of room I booked wasnt available. I asked if there was other rooms available at 70$ online why wasnt she able to accommodate me like they have in the past. She ended up giving me several more excuses. I stated that considering everything ive put up with thus far, I quite frankly did not care about their hardships any longer. We agreed to cancel my reservation. Long story short, if youre looking for professional and reliable customer service, do not come here. Are they friendly? Yes. Are they worth the headache? Absolutely not. I will not give these people any more of my hard earned money to stay here. Its a shame that such a nice hotel is run by people with extremely poor management skills. When i spend my money, especially on a hotel room, I expect the customer service to be better than motel 6. It is not the case at river tree in. Owners, time for new management.
