We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Riverview. The staff were welcoming and friendly and amazingly attentive. We looked forward each morning to the wonderfully cooked breakfast and excellent service. The guest rooms are spacious and elegantly designed. We stayed upstairs in the Burgundy room—with a very comfortable mattress/bedding and easy access to the beautiful porch with views of the river and to the convenient refrigerator in the hallway. The entire place (guest room, breakfast room, all common areas) was pristine. Lastly, we found Riverview’s location to be excellent—for trails, parks, boat cruises, and for quick drives to Gananoque and its excellent restaurants. Loved it!

Highly recommend going to this b&b. We got the champagne room, which was gorgeous, with a jet tub in the room and a little fireplace. They gave extra towels for the bath and wine glasses for you to use. The breakfast was all you can eat for 7$ (eggs -however you want them cooked, pancakes, cereal, fruit, bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate). It's at the perfect location, 15 min walk (or 1 min drive) from a national park (I recommend walking as there's a parking charge at the national park) and 7 min drive from in town where there are nice restaurants, a view, and a playhouse (which we also enjoyed). There's also a beautiful view from the terrace of the b&b. The staff is very nice and helpful and when our cruise got delayed they let us check out a little later since the room wasn't rented the next day.

Happy with our 1st stay in the large family suite and the good breakfast ($7/person), we booked again on way back for the Champagne suite. The well kept big house can view the river from balconies of some rooms or the rooftop terrace (don't miss the sunrises). The hosts live on site and the lady was friendly and nice to talk to.
