PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. AND YOUR RESPONSE PROVED MY POINT I ignored negative reviews while booking and this happened I don’t even know where to begin. This place doesn’t have a reception desk, no staff on-site, and to make things worse, there’s ZERO cellular signal in the area. So if you’re expecting to get help once you arrive – forget it. I arrived late due to travel delays and tried calling the property multiple times – no answer. I even texted them, hoping for a response. Nothing. I ended up stranded outside the building, unable to get in, completely in the dark – literally and figuratively. When I finally got a rude text the next morning, they had the audacity to blame ME for not updating my arrival time (which I you will find in booking conditions if you ever open terms and conditions while booking). Apparently, it’s my fault they don’t have a reception desk, no signal, and no one available to help after hours? And the best part? They refused to offer any refund or compensation for the night I couldn’t even access the room I paid for. Unbelievable. This is not a hotel – it’s a glorified Airbnb with zero accountability and even worse customer service. Save yourself the stress and book literally anywhere else. Wow – your response only proves my point further. Instead of showing any professionalism or basic courtesy, you chose to double down with sarcasm and blame. For anyone reading this: the bar right across from the property was incredibly helpful – the exact opposite experience. The staff there gave me a safe place to stay for the same price, so let’s stop pretending your place is some unbeatable deal. Even they said this isn’t the first time they’ve had to help stranded guests locked out of your "boutique motel." As for your “read the policy before booking” defense – maybe take your own advice. If it’s so important to know there's no reception, no signal, and a rigid check-in window, then don’t bury that in fine print. Show it clearly during booking, upfront, where people will actually see it — not hidden in terms and conditions no one can access during a late-night arrival. And please stop blaming the third-party site. I already spoke to them – they said you declined the refund. So enough with the excuses. You can call it a “boutique motel” all you want, but what it really is… is an unwelcoming, poorly managed operation with no accountability. Future guests: book literally anywhere else. Even the bar across the street will treat you better.
