Unfortunately this was the worst hotel experience of our lives. We travel the world multiple times a year. The guaranteed check-in time was 4:00 p.m on 12.31.2025. We received a text message at 7:35 p.m. stating our room is ready. We finally got to our room after another delay at check-in around 8:05 p.m. At 7:45 p.m. there were dozens of very angry guest in the lobby and at the front who's rooms were not ready. The hotel needs a major facelift. The hallway carpet smells as old as it is. Multiple holes in the walls in public restrooms near the restaurant. Multiple buckles and seams splitting in the sheetrock throughout the hallways. Everything needed to be painted, actually probably gut rehabbed then painted. 75% of the time we had no hot water. When we did have hot water the pipes in the walls would vibrate loudly. Water from the rain was pouring in multiple areas of the hotel. After getting bombarded by upset guest, Andrew the general manager removed his name tag and hung out in the bar area instead of assisting the staff at the front desk who were being verbally assaulted or assisting the housekeeping staff. The icing on the cake is today is January 14th. It's been 2 weeks since our departure. Not one person from management has called emailed or text to offer an apology or compensation for a miserable experience.

I stayed at the Riviera Resort and Spa in Palm Springs for a work conference, and while the staff at check-in were incredibly kind and welcoming, unfortunately that’s where the positive experience ended. I arrived to my room and had to carry my luggage up a narrow, steep staircase, which was already inconvenient. At first, I was pleased to see how spacious the room was—until I noticed a half-eaten cracker on the floor next to the bed. Not exactly what you want to find when you walk in. It was hard not to wonder how housekeeping could have missed something so obvious… until I realized a dirty sheet had been placed (or left) on the bed as well. The bathroom didn’t improve things. I learned the next morning that a shower curtain is, in fact, necessary. Water went everywhere, and I nearly fell as I slid across the soaked floor. That unfortunate moment also gave me a close-up view of the grimy sink and visible water damage on the lower part of the walls, which were crumbling. Overall, I find it a stretch to call this property a “resort.” It’s clearly in need of serious updates and better attention to cleanliness. I’m relieved that our conference will no longer be held here in the future. I do want to reiterate that the staff themselves were lovely. But unfortunately, great service can’t make up for a room that doesn’t meet basic standards of cleanliness or safety.

No hot water or very very little if u run shower 15 mins before. Mold in room. Broken dangerous shower. Over charged on my deposit it never got back. Broken spa or hot tub. There's better option hotels
