A truly delightful hotel: I experienced one of the best breakfast buffets ever here. Fresh, regional, and exceptional. There was a wide selection of healthy, savory, hot, cold, and sweet options. Everything was of high quality. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The restaurant has cozy seating areas and a variety of different sections, so everyone can find their perfect spot. The three-course meal on our first evening was also outstanding. We also really enjoyed the local beer from the town's private brewery (Bergbräu). We booked a Solling-style room through Secret Escapes. I think we even got a larger room than booked and were thrilled. The beds were especially fantastic; we slept incredibly well. However, the spa area is a bit cramped for the size of the hotel. While we were able to use the saunas, there was hardly any space to relax afterward. My only criticism of the hotel: the signage. We were initially quite confused by the spa area, as there were no signs anywhere. Since the area is spread over several floors, it was a bit disorienting. I even briefly opened the door to an occupied treatment room. We ended up asking a guest for directions. The same issue arose at breakfast: the labels were unclear (e.g., was the yogurt in the two bowls next to the fruit?). But that's really nitpicking. The hotel is beautifully designed. You simply feel comfortable and want to stay longer. Thank you for the wonderful, delicious, and relaxing stay!

A very nice hotel. The food is simply fantastic; the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The same goes for dinner. However, our room, located in the older building, was very small. The bathroom was also very small, with only a bathtub – unacceptable for older people. The pool was also very small; you certainly wouldn't get a lounger when the hotel was full. There were only about six loungers available, and even those were reserved with towels. There's also no elevator in the older building. The massage, however, was very good.

I recently spent four days at the Romantisches Hotel Menzhausen in Uslar. My stay was for business, as I was attending a training course there. The hotel completely won me over from the very beginning. My room was a cozy single room. Everything was very clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom had a shower and was in impeccable condition. The bed, as is typical for a single room, was rather small. Personally, I found the mattress a little uncomfortable. However, for a four-day stay, this was perfectly acceptable and overall quite fine. I would particularly like to highlight the outstanding cuisine. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were simply superb. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and far exceeded my expectations. It was a true delight. The hotel is also ideally suited for business events. The conference room was very attractively designed. The catering during the seminars was also first-class and delicious. After the training days, I was able to use the pool and spa area. There you can find everything you need to relax. Several saunas and infrared cabins are available. I didn't have time to try the outdoor sauna, but the rest of the spa area was very inviting and well-maintained. The bar service was also excellent. Both the drinks and the waiter were top-notch. A huge thank you to the entire team and the owners. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating at all times. As a guest, you truly feel welcome and valued. Thank you for the wonderful time and the first-class service.
