I visited this facility for the Italian Society of Cardiology congress in December 2025. I was shocked by the rude treatment the staff gave me as a guest. I was thirsty and in need of a drink. I attempted to get a bottle of water, but I couldn't because a young staff member prevented me from accessing the hotel bar, stating—in an annoyed and rude tone—that the bar was "reserved for hotel guests only." I wasn't expecting a free bottle of water (which would have been a welcome courtesy in a 5-star hotel); I would have paid for it. I am truly shocked by what happened here, which has never happened to me in other facilities, even in lower categories. The incident occurred in the presence of witnesses, who were also shocked. I want to emphasize that water is a primary resource and that access to it is a fundamental right of every individual; in this facility, unfortunately, I was denied access.
