We booked a suite to treat ourselves to some luxury. In the pictures it looks like there is a flat screen and a large bathroom. The room we got was without a flat screen, and the smallest bathroom we have ever seen. We had to go somewhere …

The furnishings are quite dated (80s?), but here and there you can see recent renovations. We were allowed to check in two hours earlier than planned, which was very nice. Unfortunately, we still didn't feel particularly comfortable, even though the staff was always friendly when spoken to. There's no elevator on site, and the PVC flooring in the entire bathroom is peeling. The breakfast buffet is decent but not sufficient for the price category. The pool is okay, but the gym in the basement is downright dangerous. I like that you can bring your dog. The rooms are okay, but quite noisy, the beds are very soft, and the duvets are unfortunately very old (mine was very yellowed). It's okay as a base for hikes if you have the money, but the atmosphere is more like a youth hostel – not a three-star hotel.
