I have visited many tourist destinations around the world, but I must admit that I truly loved my stay here. The experience was extremely comfortable - I felt cared for and surrounded by kind and welcoming people. From the gentlemen at the reception, to the bar and restaurant staff, and especially our wonderful animation team - you have truly exceptional people working here ❤️ Their culture, professionalism, engagement, and attitude stand out on an international level. The hotel itself is beautiful, and even though I stayed outside of the high season, there were still daily activities and entertainment provided. I would especially recommend this hotel to older guests or anyone who appreciates peace and quiet - which I personally value very much. I almost never return to places I’ve already visited, because there are so many beautiful places in the world and not enough time to see them all - but this is one of the rare places I would truly love to come back to. I wasn’t planning to mention any negatives, but I will share two points because they are easy to improve and would make the experience perfect: During our 14-day stay, the minibar was refilled only three times. The massage service was also disappointing. Nobody asked for my consent or preference regarding the gender of the therapist, and the massage was performed by a male therapist. This made me feel uncomfortable and unable to relax. Even in Europe, I have never experienced a situation where such preferences were not asked in advance - which surprised me even more in an Arab country. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I sincerely thank the entire team for their excellent work. And thank you for making my birthday so special! 🫶🏼

My partner and I stayed at the Royal Garden Palace in June 2025, and I wanted to reflect on our experience with some hindsight. We didn't have a bad stay: the food was good, and the interiors and the resort itself were very beautiful. Having high standards and relying on the reviews from the travel agent and online, I decided to go. Here are some things to know before booking: The staff is very friendly as long as you tip them every evening (the traditional €5 tip after meals). Endless succession of activities at the pool and loud music. The pool terrace, including the sun loungers, is not cleaned. We chose the all-inclusive package, which is also unusual. Lunch and dinner buffets are often the same, even at the pool "restaurant" (no menu in any of the hotel's dining areas). Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:30 to 2:30/3:00, and dinner from 6:30 to 10:00. They organize "tea time" at the pool from 3:00 to 5:00, where they remove all the savory items and only offer leftover desserts from the previous day and/or crepes if there are no more desserts. They start packing up the buffets about 30 minutes before the end of each one. It's possible to reserve a table once during your stay at each of the Italian and Tunisian restaurants, which offer a set menu and very generous portions (don't eat anything during the day; the staff will make it clear they hate waste and will ask you to leave after 9 pm).
