It's tricky to explain but my opinion was the hotel itself was fine and almost good. The bellman service and front desk was good. The cleaning and the rooms were dirty though. I mean from the literal walls, to the smell of the bathroom and unfortunately almost wiping my face with a large towel that smelled so strongly of ....male ejaculation substance that I gagged and almost vomited. All of the towels offered as replacement were crunchy, not a single soft one. Not a single face towel was present during my entire stay and one of the new towels brought to me had red speckles on it, possibly food that didn’t wash out or something? The beds were very comfortable, but given the carpet and the other things, I spent the better half of the night being concerned about what level of cleanliness was possible. Also my door appeared to have been previously broken in to and then patched up. It's the smaller details. For what I paid, I didn't feel the need to throw a commotion or ask for a switch as I was only there for a few nights. However, had my stay been longer and if the service wasn't as passable, this would have been unacceptable. I will personally not be staying again after this. However, I believe it may entirely just be the luck that I had with this specific room. I have photos, (I can’t reproduce the smells). However, I’m going to refrain from posting them here unless I have a reason to. I am going to contact management. This hotel has so much potential. I don’t think it should be assumed that “just because it’s only a few nights” that everyone will keep tolerating things like this.
