THIS IS A 3-star HOTEL AND A TERRIBLE NEW YEAR'S EVE! We went based on good reviews, choosing a place to celebrate New Year's and spend our honeymoon. Ultimately, this is the first time I'm writing a hotel review. It absolutely doesn't live up to the glowing reviews! 1) Tons of flies everywhere; it's impossible to relax, not even on the beach or by the pool. 2) Nothing to eat. I never realized who writes these reviews, that there's nothing to eat and no choice, and there really isn't. 3) Terrible New Year's Eve organization, for which the tour operator charged a mandatory surcharge of about 40,000 rubles for two, is terrible. They put you with random people, and the entertainment program consists of a fire show, a dancer who's already working, and a singer with a dull repertoire. The food wasn't replenished, it felt like everyone was trying to grab a piece of anything. The day after New Year's, there was cheese from this table at breakfast—it was the only time we had tasty cheese at breakfast! There were fireworks at the neighboring hotel, and ours had a disco until midnight, followed by an invitation to go to the bar upstairs for an extra fee. We'd already paid enough!! There was no champagne, the waiters couldn't keep up, they couldn't even come over. Everything was bland again, seemingly overstuffed, but in reality, they were just rolls like from a supermarket, and there weren't even bowls for soy sauce. 4) There really weren't any particularly interesting events, nothing to do, so we either found our own entertainment or went to bed in the evening. 5) The rules changed every day, and everyone shrugged when we said things were different the day before. It felt surreal and downright gaslighting, to be honest)) 6) The very small grounds were downright oppressive, although we didn't expect this to happen; I've been to hotels without grounds, but it was fine. Overall, it was just awful! Pros: Snoopy Island and its inhabitants; overall, you can take some nice photos if you want; the smell in the lobby; the large room; the view.
