The WORST experience EVER! Hello Veena world team Firstly to start with the hotel is not at all a four star property as the rooms are far from the standard a four star hotel boosts. The rooms are clearly poorly maintained with fungus spread on the room walls and stingy as a result . On entering the rooms there is a strong foul oder which feels like rats have decayed there for days. Secondly coming to the rooms itself the fittings and furnishing are damaged to say the least and again poorly maintained . Door knobs are broken and difficult to lock , the false ceiling coming out from corners, land lines not working in all the rooms we had booked. The situation in the washrooms I had to give a special mention as this is the first time in my life I have seen a four star having broken WC seat cover and leakages from flush . The basin knobs not functioning properly , and the mirror cracked. Thirdly to highlighting our concerns with the reception or house keeping we were unable to call them in the first place as no one was answering the room service call. On highlighting the matter to the receptionist on duty he visited our rooms and casually said that the oder is a usual occurrence and he will try and increase ventilation in the rooms . He gives his phone number as rooms lines were not working he said. On calling on his personal number for placing order and requesting for a change of one room as my sister started getting asthma due to the fungus and oder he says he will enquire and call back and no answer back . We were still patient at this point and decided to get order through outside delivery apps services. The situation really got out of hand when they refused to send the delivery agent to our room saying it is not allowed after the sub standard service they are offering and arguing that he had not received any calls on his phone for following up for room service. We had to take the delivery from the reception ourself and after demanding repeatedly they decided to get one room changed as it was totally unbearable to stay with the strong sting .

Had a fantastic stay at Royal Park Resorts Zirakpur Chandigarh. Clean and comfortable rooms, quick room service, and truly delicious restaurant food. The staff was courteous and made the experience smooth and pleasant. Definitely a place worth visiting again!
