The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean. The sea is beautiful. The animation team is super positive. I liked everything.

We liked the sun loungers on the beach best. They're made like wooden pavilions with reed roofs – very cute. There's a long jetty with a swimming area at the end, complete with two platforms for jumping in. The beach isn't really suitable for snorkeling; there are hardly any fish, even though the water is crystal clear. The tides make the beach very shallow, so you have to walk quite far out to swim, and there aren't really any waves. The sand is very hard, almost like concrete, which we found pleasant on bare feet. The weather at the beginning of November was still around 30 degrees Celsius. Even in the evenings after sunset, you didn't need a jacket. In Hurghada, it was already considerably cooler in the evenings at that time. The food in the buffet restaurants is sufficient for seven days, but then it gets boring because there's no variety. The restaurant next to reception is very noisy. However, there's a hidden, very new restaurant with a dragon above the entrance, at the end of the shopping promenade on the left. It's very bright and spacious and seems to be unknown to most guests. Generally, all tables are quickly reset after use, although it would be better if a cloth were used for this purpose. The service is very friendly and helpful, and they bring drinks to the table as soon as the first ones are finished. There's also a Royal Restaurant at the main restaurant, but it's not recommended because birds peck at the muesli and fly around. The coffee drinks from the Nestlé machine are simply awful and undrinkable. Mixed drinks are generally served in cheap plastic cups, even at the bar in the evenings. I don't find that appealing; for example, cane sugar for a mojito is replaced with syrup—well, you can drink it... The rooms are very spacious, and there's a great hammock on the terrace/balcony. Very cozy. Unfortunately, we're still waiting for the promised bathrobes and slippers, which is a shame. The minibar is restocked daily with bottled water. Once, there were six mini bottles of Fanta, Sprite, and Coke in it, but unfortunately, that was a one-off. We had assumed the air conditioning would be refilled daily. Otherwise, it's very loud, and the bed is inconveniently positioned directly underneath it. There are many lamps and light switches in the room, and it takes some effort to figure out which switch controls which light. It's completely illogical. The grounds are maintained daily by the gardeners. Unfortunately, there's no map at reception to easily find all the bars and restaurants. After a week, we still hadn't figured out where the afternoon snacks are. The clientele is 99% Russian, and the hotel caters to that. However, you can get by with English, at least outside the bars.

Our visit to the Egyptian restaurant, Layali Restaurant, was a very excellent visit. We enjoyed the food, the service was very nice, and the food was very nice with Top Chef Mohamed. As for Mr. Ehab, the restaurant manager, he provided very, very, very nice service.
