I was really fond of this Hotel. The rooms were really nice since we had an more original rooms which was just great! Yeah the House is a bit noisy and you can feel the air going through the house even if the doors are closed but the staff but an portable heater in our room beforehand and the blankets werent only extreme soft and cozy but also realllly warm so we had no issues with the cold. The staff themself were super friendly and also spoken quite good english and we talked lots with them. They were always open to help with our luggage and recommend some places we could go! Would recommend and go again anytime!!

Clean and well maintained guest house. Check in was easy and the service team were always on hand to assist with queries. One of them helped us make a call for booking the onsen which was much appreciated! The walls are a bit thin so noise from the kitchen upstairs can affect adjacent rooms. It can also get quite cold in the winter so you will have to turn on the portable heater. Apart from that I would recommend this as a stay for anyone dropping into Udewara.

This is my second time staying here. The atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. However, the reception area is a little quiet, so I think it would be better if they played relaxing background music. I love old houses, so I'd definitely stay here again.
