Sahra Airport Hotel

Hello, we stayed here for about a week, two people. We booked two separate single rooms. Upon entering both rooms, we were met with dirty sheets and requested a change as soon as we put down our suitcases. They did. We went to reception to pay. They said the sheets were ironed and not dirty. We couldn't believe they were dirty, so we examined them thoroughly, only to find sheets stained all over. Since a change was provided, we didn't make a big deal out of it, but we couldn't sleep comfortably. The location is convenient for getting around early in the morning, but the traffic on the way back from Küçükçekmece is incredibly heavy. We even took an hour to get to places we could reach in 15 minutes on the way back. There are many cafes within a 15-20 minute walk of the hotel. We didn't have many problems with food and drink orders. There was a strong smell of cigarette butts in the room I stayed in. The elevator had an unidentifiable, nauseating smell, and the hotel had hygiene issues. Despite repeatedly requesting that no one enter my room for cleaning or other reasons, I found the cleaner taking out the trash from my room earlier that day. When I explained the situation, they responded with something like, "You can check our Google reviews, we are a reliable hotel." I checked, and almost none of the recent reviews were positive. The rooms are small; there's neither enough space nor hygiene to comfortably pray. We had planned a 15-day stay. The incident that caused us to leave at 4:00 AM after a week was the last straw, and after that, the hotel was finished in our eyes. Unexpected and inappropriate noises from the next room filled the entire floor. We woke up in the middle of the night and immediately checked out. The cash payment was transferred to my bank account. We didn't have any major problems with the refund. The staff weren't particularly noteworthy. By the way, the lock on the back of the room door was broken and didn't work. Anyone with a card could easily have entered. Frankly, I don't recommend it. That was my experience. I wanted to share my experience in detail because I don't want anyone else to go through this process. Personally, it's not a hotel I would stay at again, even if I couldn't find another one. It's definitely not suitable for families. You might encounter a different atmosphere at night.
