I arrived at 11:30 AM for a 3:00 PM check-in. The front desk explained that simply waiting in the lobby would cost 1,000 yen per hour. Apparently, waiting inside the hotel until check-in itself is a paid service. I understand that I wouldn't be able to enter my room. However, the idea of being charged for sitting and waiting in the lobby is quite different from the typical hotel service model. The front desk also explained that waiting in the lobby would be a nuisance to other guests. I arrived at 11:30 AM, past the normal check-out time, and there were no other guests in the lobby at the time. The explanation that waiting would be a nuisance in that situation didn't seem reasonable. It was a windy and very cold day, but I wasn't given the option to wait inside the hotel, so I ended up having to wait outside. The customer service was very businesslike and inflexible throughout, leaving me with a strong impression that they prioritized formality over consideration for guests. I thought the hotel was convenient and easy to use, so this response was extremely disappointing. This is all the more disappointing as I had high expectations for this hotel. Questions remain about the company's transparency and accountability, including the fact that important terms and conditions were not clearly stated at the time of booking. I would not recommend staying here expecting the same level of hospitality and consideration as a typical hotel.

As of July 2025, the parking lot will be moved to the hospital's second parking lot, so it was a bit of a walk, but it's free, close to the highway, includes snacks for the price, there's a sauna, and although it's women-only, there's a hot stone bath, so it's a 5-star hotel without complaint! The snacks were plentiful and included cream buns, croissants, potato salad, egg buns, ham and cheese toast, sliced bread, corn soup, and consommé soup, and there were two toasters, which was great. I was told I could take the snacks to my room and eat them, so I could eat without worrying about others. The croissants were delicious! If I were to be greedy, a 24-hour bath would be great.

The room was clean, and it seemed like I could order Uber. The bathroom wasn't even a unit bath, just a shower, so hot water even got into the toilet, but I guess that's unavoidable for this price range. It was nice that breakfast was included for free. I'll definitely use this again if I miss the last train.
