The rooms were always spotless, thanks to Mohan's service. There were plenty of restaurant options, all excellent. You can also eat on the beach, thanks to the beach bar and cabanas, which are full of food options (even a pizza cart that roams the beach and surrounding areas). The service was excellent, and all the staff were super friendly and tried to accommodate our every wish. Atif at reception was always available to help us. Everything was wonderful.

We have been spending our Xmas holiday @ the Rotana Salalah Resort. Our son got sick the whole week and the Bravo staff (especially the 2 Alessia) was really helpful and available to welcome our requests, (excursions reimbursed, booked transfer, lead us to the clinic..). Special mention to the restaurant Staff: above all the excellent Mr Razzak who politely took care about all our meals with efficiency and grace. Thank you.

Right now we are staying for 12 days at the Rotana Resort Salalah hotel. The resort would be beautiful but it has its big but. I don't think it is a five-star hotel, and not in any way. The services, food, rooms cannot be compared to other five-star hotels. When I look at the price versus quality ratio, it is bad. I don't understand at all why it is so promoted on Czech Facebook pages. The entire hotel is dilapidated and deserted. It would require investment in reconstruction. You can't see out through the restaurant windows how dirty they are, you come to the restaurant and you don't even get cutlery. It would simply require a lot of fundamental changes here. The beach is beautiful, the sea is beautiful. But if you don't want to go into giant waves with your children, you have to go 1.5 km to the Fanar hotel where you can be in the bay behind the breakwater, the Rotana hotel has a beach behind the breakwater only for adult guests of Club Rotana. When I compare last year's holiday at the Wyndham Garden Mirbat hotel which is much cheaper, it is even better. Maybe our opinion will change by the end of the vacation, but that's up to the stars. If so, I'll edit the review.
