Peace be upon you. My wife and I would like to share a little about our trip to Nusa Penida. This was our first time to Nusa Penida. We searched for accommodation through an app on our phone. We deliberately chose this accommodation because we were looking for a good price and based on reviews from previous guests, and it was located in the middle of the island. It made it easy to get around. After we got off the boat, we immediately rented a motorbike (since we're both quite heavy, so we chose a larger cc bike, which we happened to get at a discounted price). The owner was very good at explaining the rates and choosing the right bike for us. We ended up renting the motorbike for three days. Thankfully, we got a relatively new one (the tires were still thick, the ride was still soft and comfortable). On the way, we were surprised by the winding, uphill, and potholed road. When we arrived in front of the accommodation, we were a little disappointed. Is this really an accommodation? The front looks like a normal house. However, after we entered, we met the resident who was cleaning the room. It turned out to be true, according to the reviews, the room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We stayed here for 2 nights including breakfast. Breakfast can be requested, and the food was very delicious. And what we liked most, the delicious local coffee can be requested/made as many times as it is free..tis..tis. We also had the chance to meet and chat with the owner. He is a local man with a simple appearance. Overall, both the owner and the guard, all friendly, polite and easy to talk to. Oh yes, the owner can also escort guests. Very nice place and staff, we felt very welcomed

We had a wonderful stay at Salang Guest House. We stayed here for three nights. The rooms are spacious and bright. The bed is wide and comfortable. Each cottage has its own terrace with two chairs. There's a shared terrace near the kitchen where you can enjoy breakfast every morning. We had delicious banana pancakes every day. You can even watch the sunset from this terrace. The hosts are incredibly helpful and regularly ask if you need anything. They also offer tips on nearby restaurants and activities. They are both super friendly. You can rent scooters here to explore the island. You can reach every corner of the island within half an hour. You will need them at this location, as there's nothing in the immediate vicinity. So keep that in mind.
