We’ve stayed here in the past, and came back for good reason. Recognizing we are in off season times, we were still impressed with the staff and special touches (like the hazel nut brittle at the front desk). Our room on this occasion was the larger premium king bed room, and we LOVED the view of the bay! The shower water in our room only stayed warm for about 3 minutes (?) and the furniture in the room was a bit beat up…but these were small problems compared the the beauty of the location. We went to the lodge for morning fresh coffee (mainly because the coffee in the room was pretty bad), and we loved the nature walk. The challenge course looks awesome for families! And the golf course looked beautiful (although we are not golfers!). When we were here several years ago there was a wine room (now gone) and a Michelin Star restaurant which is now a conference center. ‘The Attic’ is the restaurant now, and although the vibes were not very restaurant like, the food was very good and the service was friendly. There is also a pool table room which we didn’t use, but looked nice. Very dog friendly location…they have ‘yappy hour’ for your four legged family members. Daily yoga in the wellness center was GREAT!! Big shout out to the green thumbs…lots of beautiful landscaping and indoor plants. Gym is ok and pool area and sauna were clean and comfortable. We will come back in future…Seems like they need a boost, lots of potential space that seems underutilized.

This coastal lodge is located very close to the beach! This makes for fun times and a constant nice breeze. The rooms are nice, the food is good, cant complain!

I went for the Spa as a Birthday gift. What a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful place; fireplace, lovely hard wood floors and wonderful products. Great staff too, I gave 4 stars because the amount of products (especially mud and after oil used on me were the bare minimum. I could have used another coat of the body oil.
