Santai Bali

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s a cozy place with very friendly staff who are always ready to help and make you feel cared for. The whole area is clean and well-kept, and we had no issues during check-in — everything went quickly and smoothly. The pool is open all day, with comfortable sunbeds around it, and fresh towels are provided daily, which makes swimming even more enjoyable. There is direct access to the ocean (the shore is pebbly), and a lovely swing on the beach — perfect for relaxing, especially at sunset. Breakfast was delicious, filling, and much better than we expected. The fridge in the room is stocked with drinks and wine for an additional cost, although we didn’t need them. The air conditioners in both bungalows worked perfectly. We rented two bungalows for our big family, and everyone felt comfortable. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for a calm and enjoyable holiday. We were very happy with our stay!

The team at Santai go above and beyond to make you feel at home — friendly, kind, and always attentive. Their hospitality sets the tone for the entire stay, and you can truly feel the heart they put into everything. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, traditional-style bungalows, and that gorgeous beachfront view that Amed is known for. Waking up to the sound of the waves and stepping out to black volcanic sands was an experience I’ll never forget. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, watching the fishermen return at sunrise, or enjoying the ocean breeze at Coconut Restaurant during dinner, every moment feels like a quiet slice of paradise. The atmosphere is calm and serene — no traffic, no chaos, just pure relaxation. Amed’s slow pace pairs perfectly with Santai’s charm. It’s the kind of place where time moves slower, and you actually get to breathe. If you’re visiting Bali and want something authentic, peaceful, and full of heart, I can’t recommend Santai Hotel enough.
